Capabilities are the data passed along during pipeline negotiation. Things
like "video/x-raw,format=(string)I420", These things are essentially
free-format so one could just add there own parameters if they liked:
"video/x-raw,format=(string)I420,data_val=(int)97"

Look up GstCaps in the GStreamer reference for information on how to make
and use them.
